I’m calling on you to INSIST that the U.S. Department of Homeland Security and other federal agencies to implement clear, uniform identification standards for all field agents, including but not limited to badges, and marked vehicles.
What is happening in our streets is terrifying and so on American it’s beyond belief! People should never be detained by an individual who is not clearly recognized as a true government official, or who refuses to identify themselves, their agency or who has no proof to support their proof of employment.
Having unidentified masked individuals taking people away in the name of “our” government, the one who writes your paycheck, is something fascist countries do. Don’t allow it.
Make it stop.
