Stop Trump from Defunding NIH Research

Trump has halted all NIH research funding, and I want to let you know how deeply concerning this is. The primary effect will, of course, be making our country completely unable to respond to health risks. It also abandons our lead in medical research globally. At the local level, it will erase billions of dollars invested in Massachusetts, which will have harmful ripple effects on our economy during a time when we need to bolster our local economy in the face of much riskier federal economic policy.
