January 6th was a discrete attack upon the sacred tradition of peaceful transfer of power in our democracy, but the continued existence of the filibuster is an ongoing attack upon majority rule and peaceful transfer of power. It is a relic of the South's backlash against Reconstruction and has no place in any democratic country. Please vote to eliminate this most undemocratic rule of any modern legislature in the world.
