It is deeply concerning to see the federal government actively erasing information and support for transgender and non-binary individuals across numerous government websites and resources. This move directly harms some of the most vulnerable members of our society by denying access to critical health information and resources. It also signals an unacceptable lack of recognition for the basic human rights and dignity of transgender and non-binary Americans. Transgender and non-binary people deserve to have their identities acknowledged and respected, not wiped away from official channels. Removing the option to select "X" gender markers on passports and stripping gender pronouns from email signatures is a blatant attempt to render this community invisible. Additionally, purging public health data related to HIV prevention, mental health resources, and educational materials creates dangerous knowledge gaps that could put lives at risk. I urge you to vehemently oppose this discriminatory directive and any actions that intentionally marginalize the transgender and non-binary community. These are our fellow citizens who have just as much right to exist freely and access the same information and services as anyone else. It is imperative that the federal government celebrates diversity rather than promoting hate through deliberate exclusion and erasure. Please stand up for the rights and well-being of all Americans, regardless of gender identity.
