Stay strong - stand up to Republicans even if it means a government shutdown!

First, please turn your afterhours voicemail back on. Listening to your constituents is the least you can do. It's part of your job. Secondly, stay strong! Don't give in to Republicans! I fully support Democrats in their demands for a permanent extension of the ACA premium tax credits, a reversal of Republicans’ Medicaid cuts, and strong guardrails to prevent Trump from using rescissions to claw back funds that Congress has already appropriated. I support Democrats in doing anything they have to do, including allowing the government to shut down, in order to win these concessions. Please tell Democratic leadership to hold strong until we win. We have your backs. Please stand with the rest of the Democrats - ACA plans are going to double in price otherwise! My friend who has a toddler won't be able to afford health insurance for them if the ACA tax credits expire. We can't let Trump have the power to take back funding that Congress has appropriated. Hundreds of thousands of children around the world have died due to USAID clawbacks. The Corporation for Public Broadcasting is dead due to recissions. Please stay strong so we can prevent him from doing this again and destroying even more American institutions!
