Build a bigger table

Wise people, accepting people, moral people, GOOD people, would rather build a bigger table than a fence. Instead of wasting tax payer money rounding people up and warehousing them in prison camps, would it not be more fiscally responsible to instead create pathways to citizenship that don’t take decades of time and thousands of dollars?
