Today, the Arizona State Senate, because it is controlled by the right-wing fringe that now calls itself the GOP, is again trying to pass state laws to restrict our access to the ballot.
The GOP is working hard to continue their attempt to completely disenfranchise our state.
You cannot let this continue to happen.
We need the For The People Act and the John Lewis Voting Rights Act. We desperately need federal protections for voting rights.
We also need federal legislation to support election integrity. The reporting of Jennifer Cohn and others has shown conclusively that the GOP plan includes as a crucial component the ability to manipulate elections and to call fraudulent audits in any races that they lose.
The Arizona 'fraudit' is just the beginning.
Please stop them.
We need this done BEFORE 2022. Do not allow Joe Manchin to stop this needed reform. Kyrsten, get on the right side of history. Voting rights and election integrity are not partisan issues. The GOP is not a legitimate political party, and they don't speak for any of us.
