An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Oppose HHS workforce and program cuts!

1,570 so far! Help us get to 2,000 signers!

The Trump administration's reckless cuts to the Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) jeopardize the health and wellbeing of millions of Americans. Dismantling programs like Head Start, Meals on Wheels, and LIHEAP that provide vital support to low-income families, children, and seniors is unconscionable. Gutting the workforce and eliminating entire divisions dedicated to public health preparedness, disease research, and food and drug safety leaves us vulnerable to health crises. I urge you to vehemently oppose these destructive measures and demand HHS Secretary Kennedy provide a thorough justification and plan to maintain essential services during congressional hearings. Stripping away our nation's public health infrastructure endangers lives and cannot be allowed to continue unchallenged. Robust oversight and accountability from Congress is essential to protect the health and welfare of your constituents.
