A Few Thoughts on Messages and Morale

[[[https://talkingpointsmemo.com/edblog/a-few-thoughts-on-messages-and-morale]]] For the last two months, I've been trying to craft a letter to my representatives and to all those in the Democratic Party both my loathing of the current Maga power structure and my deep disappointment in weak-willed resistance from The Democrats. We gave full-throated support to Israeli genocide. We shrug and ignore as Donald Trump and his illegal goon squad strip away what remains of American civil rights and rule of law. However, I've really not been able to formulate accurate words for the moment that reflect my strongest feelings and, for the most part, the feelings of those closest to me. Fortunately, today, Josh Marshall at Talking Points Memo did just that. This is how many of your constituents feel, especially many that do not communicate with you. We're sad and disappointed and am looking for change. Please take some time for this short read. It matters a lot. Share with other Democrats not in Congress.
