Enforce lawful distribution of federal funds to states and cities.

We must insist that critical federal funds allocated by Congress reach their intended recipients without undue obstruction by the executive branch. The courts have rightly blocked the previous administration's attempts to unlawfully withhold congressionally approved funds to states and cities. Yet recent reports indicate agencies are continuing this misguided practice, depriving communities of resources for affordable housing, public transit, and other vital programs. This defiance of judicial orders and legislative intent cannot stand. We urge immediate action to ensure the lawful and timely distribution of appropriated monies in accordance with the will of Congress and the rulings of the courts. The public good and integrity of our government demand no less.
