Defend the Department of Education

I am writing in vehement opposition to the Trump administration's egregious plan to dismantle the U.S. Department of Education and decimate federal funding for public schools. This reckless and unconscionable scheme would wreak havoc on the lives of millions of students, particularly those in our most vulnerable and underserved communities. Consider the catastrophic impact: 26 million children will be deprived of essential educational services, 7.5 million students with disabilities will be left without critical special education support, and higher education will become an unattainable dream for 10 million working-class families. Moreover, career and technical education programs that empower 12 million students to build futures for themselves will be gutted beyond recognition. I implore you to rise up against this disastrous plan with unwavering resolve. Our children's futures and the integrity of our education system hang in the balance. Stand with us and fight this misguided plan tooth and nail!
