The attack on the Capitol was deliberate and dangerous. The people who urged the attack, as well as, those who participated deserve the full extent of the law and its punishment. Their goal was insurrection and the destruction of democracy.
Since Merrick Garland was passed over for SCOTUS, I thought his service as Attorney General may be a good idea. However, the mind and spirit of a prosecutor differs extensively from that of a judge. I am sorely disappointed in his appointments and his lack of urgency or diligence in his consideration of the court cases against the former President. His delinquency with documentation that was requested a year ago is unacceptable and jeopardizes the timing of court dates to the election.
The former president must be held accountable. Could history repeat itself as with Hitler's failed prosecution prior to his reign of terror? We, the people, recognize that Trump is a threat to our democracy and the future of the world.
As our President, you must understand our concern and implore the Attorney General to show some strength and determination in his efforts or replace him. Otherwise, take up the urgency and expand the court to 13. Show your strength and determination to make this democracy great again.
