Say YES to PA education equity

Please SUPPORT the ruling by Commonwealth Court Judge Renée Cohn Jubelirer, that declared Pennsylvania’s school funding system unconstitutional. Pennsylvania should not have "low- and high-wealth districts." There should be no need for real estate websites to score if a school district is "good or bad." What we deserve is a new state logo when it comes to education. "Your children get the best education in Pennsylvania." "You've got a friend in education in Pennsylvania." (Spins on the classic, "You've got a friend in Pennsylvania.") No one school should be better or worse than another. Every K-12 school should be amazing. Universities like Penn State, Temple, Pitt -- should see any "A" student in PA and instantly be excited by the application. (Not, "yeah, but an "A" at that school is like a "C" elsewhere.) From Philadelphia to Pittsburgh, let the proverbial school bell ring! Give the gift of the most prestigious knowledge available to EVERY child in Pennsylvania. And especially, get any child with special needs the help and care they need to be their best selves, without a parent's income determining what educational help they qualify to receive. Show off the power of our farms by getting FREE and HEALTHY school lunches to our children, grown mostly from the very food our great commonwealth provides. Prove it can be done. Become the jewel of nation when it comes to education. Please support the court's ruling and create a plan to bring equity to our schools today. Thank you.
