Vote no on the budget. The house passed a horrible bill with zero votes from your colleagues. The best way to try to stop this hostile takeover of our democracy is to stop funding it. Let republicans take all the responsibility of their inability to govern. You can spend the shutdown time going to areas hardest impacted by it and explain how your policies to improve their lives were completely ignored. The days of taking the high road are long gone. We need fighters not negotiators at this point. Thank you for continuing to stand up for your constituents.
