Demand a Comprehensive, Subpoena-Capable Investigation

I am writing as a voter to ask you to take a clear, public position on whether Congress should conduct a comprehensive, subpoena-capable investigation into corruption, abuse of power, and misuse of public office across the Trump administration.
Congressional oversight is a constitutional duty. It exists to determine whether executive power was exercised lawfully, whether public funds were misused, and whether institutional safeguards were respected. When credible concerns span multiple agencies and years, piecemeal or narrow inquiries are insufficient.
Corruption, when present, rarely appears as a single incident. It emerges as patterns: conflicts of interest, political interference in enforcement, misuse of appropriated funds, retaliation against inspectors general or whistleblowers, obstruction of oversight, and failures of transparency. Establishing the facts—and preventing recurrence—requires a whole-of-administration review.
Calling for an investigation is not an allegation of guilt. It is a commitment to the rule of law. No administration, of any party, should be exempt from scrutiny.
My request is specific:
I ask that you state yes or no whether you will:
1. Publicly support the creation of a comprehensive, subpoena-capable congressional investigation (e.g., a select committee or joint inquiry) into corruption and abuse of power across the Trump administration.
2. Support full cooperation with inspectors general, the Government Accountability Office, and protected whistleblowers, and oppose retaliation against them.
3. Support public interim reports and final findings, and commit to acting on those findings through ethics, transparency, and enforcement reforms.
Public trust in Congress depends on visible, fact-based accountability.
Please provide a written response by [DATE] stating whether you support or oppose such an investigation and, if you support it, which investigative mechanism you will back. If I do not receive a response, I will share that non-response with other voters in my district.
Thank you for your attention. I look forward to your reply
