Lower Our Drug Prices With Universal Healthcare

I am your constituent and I want you to know that a recent report shows that for 688 important drugs, we in the U.S. pay way more than our counterparts in other countries. Often more than 10 times more. Pharmacy Benefit Managers are part of the problem, but the real problem is that drug makers are allowed to charge all the traffic will bear. There is a bill in Congress called the Prescription Drug Price Relief Act which calls for drug prices here to be in line with what they are in other industrialized countries. It is a start but just a start. The real solution is to pass H.R. 3069, the Medicare for All Act so that the U.S. government is the insurance company and negotiates ALL drug prices. Note that as a country we will save $750 billion every year with Universal Healthcare and $250 billion of it just from prescription drugs. I need you to stand up and start working for your constituents and pass H.R. 3069, the Medicare for All Act so that American families finally get some relief from the cost of healthcare.
