This is not governance. This is not leadership. It is reckless, juvenile, and embarrassingly unprofessional. Congress cannot remain silent. Your refusal to speak out only normalizes conduct that is completely incompatible with the responsibilities of the presidency. I urge you—Democrats and Republicans alike—to publicly condemn this pattern of behavior, reaffirm that the presidency is not a playground for immature online antics, and demand that the President uphold at least a minimal standard of respect, truthfulness, and professionalism.
