Upholding democracy's core values - critical leadership needed

Chuck Schumer needs to stand up or resign. The Senate Majority Leader's refusal to take bold action against anti-democratic forces undermines our nation's core values. We cannot allow the erosion of civil liberties and constitutional rights to continue unchecked. It is imperative that firm leadership emerges to uphold the principles of freedom, equality, and justice upon which this country was founded. Failing to rise to this pivotal moment in history would constitute a dereliction of duty. Swift and decisive measures must be taken to safeguard our democracy from authoritarian threats, both foreign and domestic. Continued inaction in the face of such grave dangers is unacceptable.
