An open letter to the President & U.S. Congress

Urgent: Condemnation of Napoleon Quote Used by the Administration

I am writing to express my deep outrage and profound disappointment that the current administration chose to publicly share a quote from Napoleon—a dictator whose legacy stands in direct opposition to the values of democracy, freedom, and the principles on which our nation was founded. This is unacceptable. At a time when our country faces immense challenges, the last thing we need is rhetoric that romanticizes authoritarianism. This quote should never have been used, and it cannot be ignored. I urge you, as an elected leader, to take a strong and unequivocal stand in condemning this. The American people deserve better. This must be swiftly recanted, and those responsible should be held accountable for their actions. Silence on this issue is not an option. I hope to see immediate action taken to reinforce our commitment to democratic ideals.
