I watched President Carter’s funeral today, marveling at the accolades given him and the heartfelt descriptions of his character, thoughtfulness, kindness, honesty, and intellect. And I couldn’t help but contrast those words with the lack of all those qualities represented by Donald Trump. You have supported him in so many ways it is appalling to me . Yet, I fear you will continue to support his highly unqualified cabinet nominees and even his plans to undertake the massive deportation of immigrants and all the other horrific plans included in Project 2025. I implore you to think about the damage to our country, to its citizens and to your constituents that will follow if you confirm or support these dangerous nominees and Trump’s lust for power and adoration. Don’t be taken in by this con man, this adjudicated sexual abuser, tax cheat, and insurrectionist. Please cast your votes like your country and its citizens are depending on you to support the rule of law and uphold your oath of office. The whole world is watching. Don’t contribute to the embarrassment we’re going to suffer just by having this immoral, unethical flimflam man sworn into office. We are counting on you.
