And the husband being represented by Jonathan Mitchell, the former solicitor general of Texas and architect of the state’s prohibition on abortions after about six weeks of pregnancy? That’s a proverbial ‘up yours’ to half your constituency. Get ready boys. When you keep poking the bear, after you’ve been warned (mid-terms anyone?) and you still don’t get it, I wonder about your political smarts. Between this firestorm to come, and the five women suing Texas over a dereliction of health services, and the potential for a Texas judge to single-handedly strip us of the rest of our bodily autonomy, y’all better man up. Cause you ain’t seen nothing like the women’s fury fixin to come your way.
