Support Increased Federal Arts Funding

In July, the U.S. House of Representatives approved $207 million in funding for the NEA and NEH each for the next fiscal year. Now, we need the U.S. Senate’s support to make sure this funding becomes a reality. Please fund the NEA and NEH at $207 million in FY23, the funding level already passed by the House. The NEA and NEH support job opportunities for union creative professionals in every state while providing all Americans with access to enriching programs that lift up local economies. Additionally, the NEA and NEH are critical to advancing diversity, equity, and inclusion in the arts, entertainment, and media industries. The ultimate goal is getting the NEA and NEH to a full funding level of $331 million, or $1 per capita, but in the meantime I ask you to support funding $207 million for the NEA and NEH!
