AMERICA IS DIMINISHED, MAYBE DYING, ON YOUR WATCH

Congratulations on your successful efforts to kill American society as we have known it. Your enabling has allowed the creators of Project 2025 to dance a jig with the total supplication of the Republican party to their vision for a Christian-based, authoritarian, hammer-fisted version of an America no one wants. But y’all made it happen. And now we the people get to live with your spineless decisions and actions. Government agencies intended to help people are led by loyalists who want them destroyed And they’re doing it. With your help. SCOTUS has delivered a death knell as well by giving a lawless president permission to be so. Whatever he does, says, thinks while president is absolute. And who’s to stop him. Only the courts, if he allows them to. And if y’all are happy appointing a person who says ‘fuck the courts’ to a lifetime position as a judge, that tells us all we need to know about your view of impartial justice. Now we read that Trump will be interviewing 4-star generals to gauge their personal loyalty before being allowed in positions of power. The belief that all is well in America is delusion. We’re now rated up there with El Salvador with civil rights. We have been downgraded for social justice. We are no longer America in our beliefs or actions. We are barbaric, law-ignoring, bigoted, and an ideologically-radical perverted version of democracy. So while we breath polluted air, eat tainted food, buy products that might kill us, fear speaking our minds, fear going to the grocery store if we’re the wrong color, hide in the shadows if we don’t fit the proscribed version of what an American should be, don’t pray in our workplaces, don’t rat out our neighbors, don’t think outside the box in any way…we have the GOP to thank for it all. A radical version of America that absolutely no one wants outside of the Trump administration. And his supplicant Congress. Hopefully we will be thanking you in person in 2026 at the ballot box. That is assuming y’all haven’t figured out how to corrupt that pillar of our society as well. Y’all could have saved us the misery the country finds itself in. But the sad thing is, you seem just fine with it. So maybe America should be just a fond memory. Who knew it could crash and burn so very quickly. All it needed was a major political party to willingly light a match and stand back.
