After almost four months, why has the nomination of Labor Secretary Julie Su hit a dead end? With such incredible progress on the US manufacturing front, due in large part to Biden’s Build Back Better policies, Democrats need to appoint a Labor Secretary, particularly as we move into an election year. The delay is very frustrating, and Democrats need to present a much stronger united front. Why is the Senate waiting until mid-July to consider her nomination?
I echo Sen. Tim Kaine's (D-Va.) sentiments, “ I do know this: keeping it (nomination) hanging out there is good for nobody — not for the country, not for her, not for us. Let’s have a vote.”
I am urging you to take action and nominate Julie Su.
