An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Ban Stock Trading for Elected Officials and their Staff

8 so far! Help us get to 10 signers!

According to a new study, members of Congressional leadership perform 47% better in stock market trades than their rank-and-file peers, thanks to access to nonpublic information. This is one of the major issues impacting our country where a select group of people enrich themselves while leaving the rest of us to not just stay where we’re at but also regress in wealth and prosperity. It’s way past time Congress passed a law that bans all elected officials, members of Congress and their employees from trading stock.
