An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Justice for Alligator Alcatraz Detainees

11 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

I am writing to ask about the 1,200 people who were detained in Alligator Alcatraz, who have since disappeared, and whose families now have no idea where they are and can't get in touch with them. President Trump has worked with countries in Central America and Africa to put people in unregulated jail conditions in those countries. This ought to be illegal but it might not be since no one never imagined that an American president could do such a heinous and irresponsible thing. But this president does them with regularity. Where are those people? Are they alive? Are they dead? Please urgently ask for answers from the administration. The American government is playing with people's lives. Everyone deserves due process and their day in court. If we don’t stand for their rights we will lose our own.
