An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Keep US Troops Out of War

19 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

The U.S. Constitution divides war powers between Congress and the President. Congress has the sole power to declare war, raise and support armies, and regulate the military. Congress has abdicated it’s responsibilities in the last decades but it is time to assert yourselves and keep US troops out of war with Iran. One of President Trump’s great appeals was his promise not to involve US troops in the endless wars we saw during the Obama administration. Please don’t send our military to fight in yet another Mideast conflict.
