We don’t want a king

I was further appalled to see that the republican congress has written a provision into the great big beautiful bill that prevents the courts from using appropriated funds to enforce contempt rulings. If there is no enforcement there is nothing to stop this rogue administration from further trampling on the rights of citizens and non-citizens alike. Our descent into authoritarianism will speed further downward. Why are you working so hard to destroy the constitutional structure of this country and codify the usurpation of power that this administration continues to push forward. We don’t need a king.
