Oppose irresponsible deregulation of concealed carry in Michigan

HB4213 would drastically roll back restrictions on where concealed firearms can be carried in Michigan. It seeks to allow concealed carry in nearly all public spaces, including schools, daycares, sports venues, places of worship, large entertainment facilities, hospitals, and college campuses. The only locations still prohibited would be bars and casinos regulated under state gaming laws. This sweeping deregulation raises serious concerns about the potential for increased gun violence and accidents in spaces where children, students, worshippers and the general public congregate.
