This week, the Senate will take up many important matters, and I write to urge you to vote YES on the confirmation of Joseph Goffman as Asst. Administrator for the Office of Air and Radiation at the EPA. This position and the office it directs play a critical role in protecting families and communities across the country. With the administration’s need to help underserved communities from harmful air pollution primarily from fossil fuels being burned and extracted, this office has a real impact on people’s every day lives. Mr. Goffman has the experience and knowledge to tackle the complexities of steps we can take on stabilizing our climate and advancing environmental justice. Please vote YES on his confirmation.
