Senator, Nevadans Need More Than Silent Protest—Take Bold Action!
1 so far! Help us get to 5 signers!
I want to thank you for refusing to stand during Trump’s address to Congress—a small but important act of defiance. However, that is not enough. Silent protest is appreciated, but your constituents need bold, public action.
Representative Al Green of Texas had the courage to speak out forcefully and directly—and we need you to do the same. I urge you to:
1. Hold public town halls—something our own Representative Mark Amodei refuses to do. The people of Northern Nevada deserve direct engagement and answers.
2. Encourage your constituents to exercise their First Amendment rights and peacefully protest against the erosion of democracy, especially students at UNR and across Nevada.
3. Use your platform to call out Trump’s attacks on our institutions, civil rights, and democratic norms. Now is not the time for passive resistance—it is time for action.
We need leaders who are not just standing silently, but speaking loudly, organizing, and fighting for the people they represent. Will you take that stand?
I look forward to your public response and action on these requests.
