Support school safety and inclusion!

I strongly support HB 1296. Please get this bill pulled from Rules and onto the floor for a vote. The protections and guarantees within this bill are critical. HB 1296 provides for the protection of every student's access to a free public education. The bill explicitly states that this includes gender-inclusivity. The bill adds retaliation protections for supporting or enforcing these policies. It also requires the appointment of a Gender Inclusive Schools compliance officer. Hopefully, this will correct for the numbers of schools who have not adopted nor implemented OSPI's policy on gender inclusivity. It is excellent, clearly written and offers guidance on how to implement these policies.
