Oppose Confirmations of Patel, Kennedy, and Gabbard

I urge you to vote against the confirmations of Kash Patel, Robert F. Kennedy Jr., and Tulsi Gabbard for the following reasons:
Kash Patel – FBI Director
1. Politicization of Law Enforcement – Patel has a history of undermining the integrity of federal law enforcement, particularly through his role in efforts to discredit legitimate investigations. His past statements suggest a willingness to shape the FBI to serve political interests rather than uphold independent law enforcement principles.
2. Lack of Law Enforcement Experience – The FBI requires a leader with extensive experience in criminal investigations and counterintelligence. Patel, despite his background in national security, lacks the operational law enforcement expertise necessary to lead the nation’s premier investigative agency.
Robert F. Kennedy Jr. – Secretary of Health and Human Services
1. Public Health Misinformation – Kennedy has promoted scientifically unfounded views on vaccines and other public health measures. His leadership would undermine trust in the agency responsible for safeguarding public health, potentially leading to decreased vaccination rates and increased disease outbreaks.
2. Hostility Toward Public Health Institutions – His past rhetoric against agencies like the CDC and FDA raises serious concerns about his ability to effectively oversee them. Instead of strengthening public health infrastructure, his leadership could weaken it at a critical time.
Tulsi Gabbard – Director of National Intelligence
1. Foreign Policy Positions That Undermine U.S. Interests – Gabbard has taken positions that align with authoritarian regimes, including defending Bashar al-Assad despite evidence of his war crimes. Such a stance raises serious questions about her ability to provide objective intelligence assessments.
2. Lack of Intelligence Experience – The DNI must manage and coordinate the 18 U.S. intelligence agencies. Gabbard, while a former member of Congress and a veteran, lacks the intelligence community expertise required for this role, posing risks to national security.
For these reasons, I strongly urge you to oppose their confirmations.
