I urge you to support the VISIBLE Act, co-sponsored by Senators Alex Padilla and Cory Booker. It helps keep our law enforcement professionals and everyone else in this country safe by ensuring that law enforcement professionals can be readily identified. This helps prevent violence by mistake against law enforcement officers. It also helps prevent people from posing as law enforcement officers for the purpose of committing violent acts such as murder and kidnapping. It helps promote public trust in law enforcement professionals. This bill is a win for both law enforcement professionals and for the public.
