An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Extend TPS for Haitians now!

635 so far! Help us get to 1,000 signers!

I am heartbroken by what’s happening to Haitian immigrants in Springfield, OH. Their treatment by ICE officers, and this administration as a whole, has been cruel, inhumane, and inexcusable. A 20-year-old young man there took his own life this week rather than be treated as a common criminal by a country that quite frankly doesn’t deserve him. He was an honor student, an aspiring doctor, and a member of JROTC! What are we doing? TPS must be extended for Haitian immigrants before more are sent to their deaths in their wartorn coutnry—or driven to kill themselves here. These are beloved members of the community, hard workers, valuable healthcare providers, and more. We must stop abusing them. Extend their TPS now! Thanks.
