“Peace for both groups” is impossible.

Palestinian liberation necessitates a complete dismantlement of the settler-colonial state of “Israel”. Those who advocate for “peace for **both** groups” are zionists. This language puts Palestinians [the colonized] and “Israelis” [their colonizers] on equal footing, missing the crux of the issue: all of “Israel” is occupied Palestine, which has been violently stolen. Zionists’ settlement there relies upon the dehumanization, violent displacement, oppression, imprisonment, torture, and genocide that they force upon Palestinians. As such, there cannot be “peace” and “equal rights” between the colonized and the colonizer, since “Israeli” “rights” depend upon Palestinians’ rights being violently denied. As demonstrated by numerous liberation struggles (including but not limited to: South African liberation, pan-Indian freedom from the British Raj, Irish liberation, & Algerian independence), colonizers cannot be reasoned with and must be defeated. “Lasting peace” for the colonized can only be ensured by restoring & honoring the right to self-determination of the colonized. Thus, the settler-colonial state of “Israel” must and will be abolished. Palestinian resistance, including through use of armed forces, has not only moral justification, but legal protection under international law. It is the zionist entity, and your unconditional support for its crimes, that violate countless laws. You will correct this if you want to stay in office. I demand that you: 1. Call for an immediate and permanent CEASEFIRE — and a complete end to “Israeli” occupation of Palestine (that is: ALL of it.). Express explicit support for Palestinian liberation, from the river to the sea. This means a complete dismantlement of the zionist entity. 2. Condemn “Israeli” apartheid, war crimes, & lies. Sanction “Israel” by PERMANENTLY: - Withdrawing all U.S. troops and assets sent to assist “Israel”. - Ending all monetary and military aid given to “Israel”, whether it is directly or indirectly provided. - Cutting ALL diplomatic ties with “Israel”. This will include ending the cross-training between our police force and the “I”OF. 3. Support the BDS (Boycott, Divestment, Sanction) Movement. It’s unconstitutional to deny your constituents their right to boycott, a form of protest protected under the freedom of speech (The First Amendment). - Repeal federal anti-BDS legislation. - Pass legislation that voids all state & local-level anti-BDS laws. People’s lives are in danger. Do your job. End the genocide. Your career is on the line.
