Women's Health Matters - Restore the Women's Health Initiative

I am your constituent and I am outraged that the Trump administration has butchered the Women’s Health Initiative to a budget of $10 million/year. This outstanding effort established by President Bush has saved countless women’s lives. They discovered what does work and what doesn’t with respect to cancer, heart disease, hormone therapy, osteoporosis and so much more. They are uniquely poised to produce important new insights into many chronic diseases, including Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia, according to medical experts. And the Trump administration claims to be focused on chronic diseases. Those words are not borne out by their actions. I want you to restore their funding and specifically designate it to them by law. You are either a woman, married to a woman, or had a mother. DO NOT CAST OFF WOMEN IN OUR SOCIETY.
