The number of insane bills the IN state legislature is considering now is… insane. Are you aware of the research organization PEN America? A respected First Amendment research org. On January 24, 2002, they wrote an entire article on educational gag orders being introduced in state legislatures. Literally: Indiana is their poster child of bad bills. Sloppily written legislation that severely constrains speech. Please, vote against: HB 1362; HB 1040; HB 1231; and all the other abysmal anti-education bills. Let teachers teach. They are professionals!
