Stand against Trump's attempt to define the Constitution

We have begun living in hard times. Times that will test every one of us that believe in a democratic Republic. The beginning of the Trump administration confronts us with whether or not we, as individuals and collectively as a country can resist and hold strong against an authoritarian government. Those of you in government will be the most and the first to be sorely pressed and tested. First of all, please know that there are many, many of us in the rank and file who want you to stand firm and stand strong and do everything in your power and creativity to find ways to undermine and stand against Trump's authoritarian actions. We stand with you. I have purposefully not tuned in deeply to news on Trump's initial executive orders, but I am clearly aware of his single-handed attempt to overturn the 14th amendment and deny its offer of citizenship to anyone born in the US. We must decry this authoritarian move and deluge the courts with suits to shut it down and hope and pray that even though the supreme Court gave him immunity, it has not yet become so cynical as to rollover and give him unilateral lawmaking power and the right to single-handedly change the Constitution. It must be absolutely obvious to his supporters that the nation is not prepared to roll over and allow him to be autocratic.
