Acknowledge the massive NO KINGS turnout:
RESTORE THE CONSTITUTION

Usually contact letters come with requests to vote certain ways on specific bills; or to conduct oversight.
Today, to recognize the momentous, record-breaking, peaceful NO KINGS protests,
I write asking you to reaffirm your oath to the constitution and your commitment to SERVE the people you represent and whom you should be honored to serve.
I ask you to restore constitutional order and the rule of law in all aspects of your work.
-- that means reclaiming the rightful powers of Congress over:
tariffs, war, and appropriations.
These are the powers which Trump has wrongfully usurped, overthrowing the constitution with almost every action.
As part of your sworn duty to defend the constitution, I ask you to expose and repudiate:
Policies and actions motivated by Fascism, Christian nationalism, bigotry, racial prejudice.
Reject the mass deportation agenda and all lies about election fraud, as well as mischievous and damaging schemes to suppress votes and gin up mistrust in elections.
WE THE PEOPLE did NOT vote for project 2025:
We DID NOT VOTE for war crimes to be committed in our name, nor for concentration camps and illegal abductions and disappearances.
We did not vote for Trump's wars and tariffs, we did not vote for Stephen Miller, we did not give consent for the White House to have the East Wing torn down.
We did not give our votes to have armed troops used against American cities, to have people disappeared, to have the DOJ weaponised against political opponents, to have rights and liberties taken away, to have felons and alcoholics and spousal abusers in the Cabinet.
We did not vote for DOGE. We did not vote for lying to become the presidential discourse.
If you are already supporting the constitution, I acknowledge and thank you.
For the colleagues who are not, consider that History is watching you and the future will judge you: as early as next November, we will judge you at the ballot box.
There will be electoral, judicial, and moral accountability.
