Protect Trans Michiganders

I'm writing today to ask you to stand up and protect trans Michiganders. Their rights are being destroyed by the current administration and the US Supreme Court. We cannot let trans people suffer, and perhaps even die, at the hands of people who hate them merely for existing. Michigan must enact legislation that protects trans rights, not just for adults but trans youth as well. Trans people, like all of us, should be free to live their lives how they want, without threat of discrimination. Since the federal government is shirking their duty, the state of Michigan must step and up protect them instead. Please work to protect our trans neighbors. We need you to do this now more than ever. Trans rights are human rights, after all. And if trans people aren't safe, none of us are.
