STOP VOTER SUPPRESSION! KILL THE SAVE ACT & RESTORE VOTER PROTECTION POLICIES!

The SAVE Act is unnecessary and acts as voter suppression, which goes against the principles this country was founded on. Undocumented immigrants already can't vote, so this law solves a nonexistent problem. Instead, it creates obstacles for many legal voters, including young people without birth certificates, elderly citizens without the means to obtain documents, and married women who changed their names.
This law would suppress voters across the political spectrum—conservatives, liberals, and independents alike. It functions as a modern poll tax, which history has deemed unconstitutional, and amounts to taxation without representation, something our founding fathers opposed.
Beyond that, the SAVE Act could limit ballot drop boxes, restrict mail-in voting, and make it harder for elderly and disabled Americans to vote, treating them as second-class citizens despite the principle that “all men are created equal.”
Now more than ever, we must stop the SAVE Act and restore voting rights lost in recent years. Let’s take a stand—because in the end, the real power belongs to the American people.
