I'm writing to urge you to support S 466, the Protecting Americans with Pre-existing Conditions Act. Permitting the use of ACA subsidies to purchase short-term insurance plans puts consumers at risk for medical bankruptcy and weakens protections for the thousands of people with preexisting health conditions.
