The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor has documented deeply disturbing incidents involving the Israeli army and Palestinian civilians. In one such incident, a man was arrested and subsequently run over by an Israeli military vehicle while he was still alive. In other instances, tanks have been used to crush Palestinians, including a family sleeping in a shelter caravan and displaced individuals in their tents. This is part of a broader military assault on the Gaza Strip, which has resulted in thousands of casualties, predominantly women and children, and the displacement of nearly two million people. We urgently call for an immediate ceasefire and cessation of financial support to Israel until an independent international investigation is conducted.
