Stand Against Israel’s Criminal Blockade of Humanitarian Aid to Gaza

I am outraged that Israel is once again weaponizing starvation against Palestinians by cutting off all humanitarian aid to Gaza. This is a blatant violation of international law, a moral disgrace, and an atrocity that the U.S. government must not tolerate—let alone enable with billions in military aid. On March 2, 2025, Israel halted all aid deliveries to Gaza after Hamas rejected a ceasefire proposal that failed to guarantee a full Israeli withdrawal and permanent peace. In retaliation, Israel imposed a blockade, plunging Gaza deeper into an already catastrophic humanitarian crisis. This is collective punishment, an internationally recognized war crime, and it must be condemned in the strongest terms. (FT) The United Nations has already warned that Israel’s deliberate starvation of Palestinians may amount to a war crime, yet the Trump administration continues shielding Israel from accountability. The UN Secretary-General has made it clear: Israel must remove all obstacles to relief efforts, yet instead, it has doubled down on its genocidal policies. (AP) Aid groups are now unable to deliver lifesaving supplies, and food prices are skyrocketing. Innocent civilians—already on the brink of famine—are being starved as a negotiation tactic. This is state-sponsored cruelty, and the U.S. is complicit as long as it continues to arm and fund Israel while pretending to call for humanitarian relief. (AP) I demand that you: 1. Publicly denounce Israel’s blockade of humanitarian aid as a war crime and a violation of international law. 2. Demand the immediate resumption of unrestricted aid deliveries to Gaza. 3. Cut military aid to Israel for its genocidal assaults on Palestinians. Silence is complicity. Funding war crimes is complicity. If you fail to act, you are endorsing the mass starvation of civilians.
