I am calling on Congress and the President to create an office of Gun Violence Prevention! It is about time we did something to prevent deaths from gun violence. Stand with out youth who took action today to demand we do something. You hold power. We call on you to dedicate resources. We are all traumatized. We send our kids to school every day wondering if today is the day it happens to us. Why???? Why are we not doing everything we can to prevent death from guns. And the after effects. And the worry when a false alarm happens (which happened in my district multiple times 2023!). Take action.
