Hello, sir. I'm glad you were elected. Now is the time to pull out all the stops to protect all Americans and the people who live here. This is not the time to compromise. This is not the time for wishy washy statements, conditionals, or empty promises. This is the time for action. 1) Have volunteer doctors available on federal properties to provide abortion care, and trans care should it be needed 2) Provide funds for the states that do have legal abortion to assist people coming in from other states 3) CANCEL STUDENT DEBT - this is not unrelated. This will free up funds for people to access better care, because that is unfortunately how health care in this country works 4) Put abortion care explicitly into the ACA. The best thing about that BFD was that birth control was made simpler and affordable and mostly free. ABORTION CARE IS HEALTH CARE 5) Get the Senate to abolish the filibuster and GET THE PENDING HOUSE BILL PASSED: WOMEN'S HEALTH PROTECTION ACT OF 2021 NEEDS TO BE THE LAW OF THE LAND. Again, I'm glad it's you in that seat. Now is the time to use it to its utmost. The Republicans are going scorched earth and it's time to break that up.
