An open letter to the U.S. Congress

Protect Medicaid for vulnerable Americans' healthcare access

17 so far! Help us get to 25 signers!

Cutting Medicaid would jeopardize essential healthcare coverage for millions of low-income Americans, including those with disabilities who rely on these services. Imposing stringent work requirements or capping federal funding to states could force many to lose access to vital care and support. We must protect this crucial safety net program that provides a lifeline for our most vulnerable citizens. Reducing Medicaid services would strain families, overburden providers, and leave many with nowhere else to turn for affordable healthcare. Instead of cuts, we should explore ways to strengthen and expand Medicaid to meet the growing needs of our communities. Access to quality, affordable healthcare should be a right, not a privilege reserved for the wealthy. I urge you to reject any proposals that would gut Medicaid and leave millions without this indispensable coverage.
