FIX THE BORDER FOR REAL

Greetings. I am a voting constituent in rural west Texas. Another day. Another GOP House dog and pony show. This one is particularly irksome since I’m in Texas. Looks like a herd of righteous indignation is heading to our southern border in the form of GOP Reps. Seems to me like working on legislation at your DC desks might be time better served. But I totally get the urge for a plate of enchiladas. But seriously. Work on legislation. Write some realistic laws. Make a serious attempt to actually solve the issues you constantly go on about but rarely try to address. Is it actually beyond your power to do anything realistic to make things better? Or is the political football of unresolved immigration just too good to give up? If you care about your state, try and fix the problem. Not exacerbate it with political theatrics that do nothing. Except spotlight the hypocrisy of your actions. Less BS. More action.
