Usha Vance is set to travel to Greenland on Thursday, returning Saturday, accompanied by one of her three children as part of a U.S. delegation. The stated purpose? To "visit historic sites" and "learn about Greenlandic heritage." In reality, this is yet another tone-deaf, taxpayer-funded stunt-an unnecessary intrusion that risks antagonizing the people of Greenland under the guise of diplomacy. This wasteful and provocative trip must be called out and unequivocally condemned.
